Born and raised in Long Island, New York. Green attended North Babylon High School in North Babylon, New York on Long Island and in addition to basketball, he played quarterback on the football team. From his sophomore year onwards, Green attended St. Mary's High School, a private school, in Manhasset, New York. He averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks as a senior. Considered a four-star recruit, Danny committed to the University of North Carolina in 2005 and won an NCAA National Championship in 2009.
In 2009 he entered the NBA draft and was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers. This was the beginning of an illustrious and still on-going career. Danny played with the San Antonio Spurs from 2010-2018 and won a championship in 2014. He then moved to the Toronto Raptors where he was part of the 2019 championship team. He then moved to the Los Angeles Lakers and won a championship with Lebron James in 2020. Danny is currently a member of the Philadelphia 76ers.
How Green14Hoops Came About
Founders Danny Green and Kevin Spann have been former High School Teammates, Competitors, and amassed over twenty years of lifelong friendship. At the core of the friendship is the love for the game. With 13 years of camp, clinic, and event experience, this duo has worked with over 10,000 youth athletes in Texas, North Carolina, New York and over half a dozen countries including Spain, Switzerland, Japan, and Canada.
Being able to come back to Long Island and work with the next generation of girls and boys players at a venue is a life long dream.

Green14Hoops provides a fun, energetic, and highly motivating environment where players of all levels strive to implement our core principles. Our trainers and coaches thrive at being detailed, and players are able to apply instruction with a lot of encouragement. The player will leave with a detailed training regimen, and an enthusiasm to be the best version of themselves on and off the court.
Our goal is to improve a players shooting skill with a series drills, and competitive games.
